Suzanne McDonnell Morris, D.Min. is a Life Coach based in Alameda, California; she has a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling. Her education, training, and experience include pastoral counseling, family therapy and social work. In her 35 years at the interfaith Samaritan Counseling Center in Michigan City, Indiana, she counseled individuals, couples and families in improving communication skills and identifying their strengths while learning to cope creatively with challenges related to their life’s circumstances. In her work, she encourages individuals and families to make healthy choices, set goals, and celebrate accomplishments. Additionally, Suzanne held positions of leadership in administration while working at the not-for-profit organization.
Currently, Suzanne is available as a life coach for individuals, couples, and families seeking to reduce stress, clarify priorities, set goals and align their personal habits of body, mind, and spirit with their deepest values. She is also available for public education programs on topics related to mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Suzanne is a member of Spiritual Directors International and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. She delights in living geographically nearer to her son and his family, including two very young grandchildren.
